6:29p - Forces of nature.
Lightning just took out our WiFi router!
I've ordered a replacement.. Should arrive before 1pm tommorow. How weird. At least it didn't brick the modem too, as that would need cable guys to come fix it which would be infinitely more annoying.
There is a positive side though, as i'd been considering upgrading it to 802.11n.. Now we'll have faster speeds, more range, and the ability to plug in a bigass usb HD as external backup. Don't like being forced to upgrade though. :(
Sorry for long absence. I went to Wales for a week.. And I've been meaning to write properly about that since, so haven't done any little updates either.
Proper update soon, with photos and stuff.
